Professional Statement

James J. Koster, M.D. is from Mesa, Arizona and graduated with honors from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. He then achieved his fellowship training in cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery from Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor. Dr. Koster currently serves as Arizona Ophthalmic Outpatient Surgery Center’s Medical Director and on the Physician Advisory Board for Amsurg Corporation. In his personal time, Dr. Koster enjoys participating in and watching sports, loves to play and listen to music, and enjoys travel.
