Dr. Danesh is a retina specialist with extensive clinical and surgical experience in the treatment of retinal diseases. He has performed thousands of surgeries and has been an investigator in many clinical trials. He was educated and received extensive training from some of the most prestigious universities in Canada and the United States. He is the past president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Danesh earned his medical degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Following his residency at the University of Ottawa Eye Institute, also in Canada, he completed his Fellowship in Medical and Surgical Diseases of the Retina at the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
Dr. Danesh is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada, and is Board Certified in Canada. He has been a Vitreoretinal Surgeon in Phoenix Since 2004, has performed more than 400 retinal surgeries each year, and was the Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, Queens University, Canada from 2002 to 2004.
